The problem

Every existing FPL tool
fails you in one of two ways.

Eleven million managers. Two broken solutions. Nothing in between — until now.

📊
The stats wall
Raw xG, xA, BPS, ICT, expected points, FDR adjusted for home/away, underlying metrics for the last 6 gameweeks across 700 players. All correct. All useless without knowing what to do with it. You need a data science degree just to work out whether to captain Salah.
✗ Tells you everything · Helps you with nothing
🤖
The black-box oracle
"Our AI recommends: Captain Salah, transfer in Okafor, play Wildcard." No reasoning. No trade-offs explained. No acknowledgement that this week's fixtures are unusual. Just instructions — and when it goes wrong, you have no idea why you listened.
✗ Makes the call · Skips the thinking
The FPL Coach AI way

Coach not oracle.
Information, not instruction.

We watch the data so you don't have to. We surface the patterns that matter. We frame the trade-offs clearly. Then we step back — because the decision is yours, and it should be.

✓ Surfaces the information · You make the call

What you get

Okafor has 4 goals in his last 5 home starts. Minteh has blanked in 3 of his last 4 away fixtures. The price point makes this a net-gain even with a −4.

Not what you get

"Transfer in Okafor. Do it now."

How it works

Four coaching tools.
One consistent philosophy.

Captain analysis
The right captain pick. Explained.
Every gameweek, we model expected returns for your captaincy options across the next 3 gameweeks — not just this one. Fixture difficulty, home/away splits, recent form, and ownership context all factored in.
Ceiling vs. floor · differential value · ownership risk
FDR adjusted for opponent form · blank/DGW context
Transfer impact
Compelling, marginal, or trap.
We classify every potential transfer across three categories — so you know at a glance whether a move is genuinely worth making, borderline noise, or a week-5 FPL classic trap that will haunt you.
3-gameweek projected points delta · price change risk
Bench coverage impact · template vs. differential trade-off
Formation optimiser
Your best XI, with alternatives.
Given your squad, which formation maximises expected points this week — and what are you trading off by choosing it? We model your top 2–3 lineup options side by side so you can see what each one costs.
Expected points per formation · bench order impact
Injury/suspension risk flagging · differential scenarios
Chip strategy
When to play your chips.
Wildcard, Triple Captain, Free Hit, Bench Boost — each chip has an optimal window. We track the season-wide fixture calendar and flag when conditions are aligned for each chip, so you don't waste your Wildcard on a bad week.
DGW and BGW tracking · fixture swing windows
Template chip timing vs. contrarian plays
Transfer classification — how it works
★ Compelling
Clear points advantage over 3 gameweeks. Fixture swing in favour. Marginal cost justified. Make the transfer.
→ Strong signal to act
◎ Marginal
Within statistical noise — could go either way. The data doesn't support paying a premium for this. Hold unless you have a free hit.
→ Hold unless free transfer
✗ Trap
Popular move with weak underlying rationale. High ownership pressure, low points ceiling. The kind of transfer you regret by Sunday night.
→ Resist the template
Our philosophy

We built a coach.
Not an oracle.

The best FPL managers don't want to be told what to do. They want better information so they can make better calls. That's what we built.

FPL Coach AI watches the data you don't have time to watch, identifies the patterns you might miss, and explains its reasoning at every step. Then it steps back. The decision is always yours. The outcome is always yours.

What we don't do
"Captain Salah this week." No reasoning. No trade-off. No context. Just instructions.
What we do
Salah's ceiling is higher (8.9 vs 7.2 xPts), but he's facing a top-4 side away. Palmer's floor is safer with a home FDR 2 fixture. If you need a differential, Salah. If you need consistency, Palmer. Your call.
What we don't do
Pretend certainty we don't have. When data is inconclusive, we say so clearly.
What we do
Tell you when a transfer is within noise — because a marginal swap for −4 is the single most common FPL mistake.

Thursday night
Who should I captain this week?
Fixture context, expected returns, ownership differential, ceiling vs. floor — laid out clearly so you can make the call with confidence before the deadline.
Transfer window
Is this transfer worth a −4?
We model the 3-gameweek points swing, flag whether the points premium justifies the hit, and tell you if the popular move is a trap. Compelling, marginal, or trap — clearly labelled.
Chip decisions
When should I play my Wildcard?
We track the fixture calendar all season and flag the optimal windows for each chip. No more wasting your Triple Captain on a blank gameweek because you panicked.
DGW / BGW weeks
How do I navigate blank and double gameweeks?
BGWs and DGWs swing seasons. We analyse your squad coverage and suggest the clearest path through — hold, Free Hit, or restructure — with the rationale explained.
Lineup selection
What's my best XI this week?
Given your squad, injuries, and this week's fixtures, we give you your best formation options — including what you're trading off with each one.
Season strategy
Am I building for now or the run-in?
The best FPL squads are structured around fixture swings. We help you understand whether your current squad is optimised for the next 3 gameweeks or the next 10 — and what that trade-off costs.
