A free £100m Wildcard squad built on this season's form and the next six fixtures, updated every morning, plus our four original GW1 squads for reference. Every pick shows the numbers behind it — starts, points per 90, fixtures, ownership — so you can decide whether the argument holds. Method is at the bottom.
Wildcard: built on 2026/27 form so far, anchored to last season, plus each club's next six fixtures · Injured, suspended or under-75%-to-play players left out
Template · Balanced · Differentials · Reserve: our original GW1 squads, built on 2025/26 data before a ball was kicked, kept for reference
Player pool refreshed daily from the official FPL API. Only confirmed 2026/27 Premier League squad members shown.
Built for a Wildcard now: this season's form, the next six fixtures, and who is actually starting.
The Wildcard squad is built for right now. Each player's points-per-90 this season is blended with last season's, so five hot games don't outweigh a proven record (after five full games the two count equally, and this season takes over as the minutes build). That is multiplied by a fixture factor for their club's next six fixtures (home games weighted up) and by how reliably they have started this season. The squad maximises that across a £100m budget, max three per club. Injured, suspended and under-75%-to-play players are left out.
The four GW1 squads (Template, Balanced, Differentials, Reserve) were built before the season: each player is scored on proven output (their real points-per-90 from last season, cautious on small samples), opening fixtures (a home-weighted view of their club's GW1-6 draw), and minutes security (starts and minutes rate from last season). No pre-season friendlies, no expected-goals model, no form window — the point is to be honest about what we can and cannot see.
Players making their Premier League debut in 2026/27 are not scored on their own numbers — we have no PL minutes to price them on. They can still fill a bench slot but cannot start.
The full method, every rule, every filter, and every uncalibrated assumption is written out at the bottom of the page. If you disagree with a pick, the numbers behind it are there.
