App privacy notice.
This notice covers the Kitted app (previously called Outfit Stylist) for iPhone and Android. Our main privacy policy covers our website.
1. Who we are
si187 Enterprises Ltd (company number 15126475, registered in England and Wales), trading as si187 Apps, is the data controller for the app. Contact: [email protected].
2. What the app uses
There is no account, no sign-in and no photo upload. To build outfits, the app uses only what you enter:
- the occasion and your budget;
- optionally: a town or city, trip dates, expected weather, style notes and preferred shops.
- optionally, from the first-run questions: your fit and colour preferences, how much styling guidance you want, and an age range (for example 35–44). We never ask for your exact age or date of birth.
Your age range is used only to suggest fits and brands that suit you. It is kept on your phone for the session and sent with your answers when you style; we don't store it.
Please don't enter personal details (such as your name or address) in the free-text fields. The app does not use your device location, contacts or photos, and it contains no advertising or analytics trackers.
3. How your answers are used
When you tap Style me, your answers are sent to our server, which runs on Cloudflare, and from there to Google Gemini, an AI service that picks outfits from our product catalogue. Our server checks every outfit and works out all prices itself.
The app asks for your agreement, and that you are 18 or over, before your answers are first sent to Google Gemini. You can withdraw it at any time with the Use AI stylist switch in Settings. Our lawful basis is your request for the service (to provide outfits you ask for) and our legitimate interest in running and protecting it.
4. Who receives data
- Google (Gemini API) receives your answers to generate outfits. We use Google's paid service and ask it not to store requests (the API's
store: falsesetting). Google's terms may still allow it to keep requests briefly to detect abuse. You can turn the AI stylist off in the app's Settings; outfits are then worked out on your phone and nothing is sent. - Google (Maps Places API): unless you have turned the AI stylist off, what you type in the Where field is sent through our server to Google Maps to suggest places. We don't store it. Google's privacy policy applies.
- Cloudflare runs our server. Your answers pass through it but are not stored. Operational logs record only timings and error codes, never your answers.
- Retailers and affiliate networks (such as Awin): when you tap a shop link, it opens in your phone's browser and the retailer or network may set a tracking cookie so we can be paid commission. Their own privacy policies apply. We do not send them your answers.
- Apple and Google distribute the app (App Store, TestFlight, Google Play). Their privacy terms apply.
We don't sell your data or share it with advertisers.
5. How long we keep data
We don't keep your answers. During the beta, the app does not save your outfits on your phone either; they are gone when you close the app. Google's retention is described in section 4.
6. AI-generated content
Outfit names and reasons may be written by AI. Images shown as examples on our website and in the app's welcome screen are AI-generated and are not products or prices from the app. During the beta the app may show a clearly marked test catalogue with made-up items.
7. Age
The app is intended for adults aged 18 and over.
8. Your rights
Under UK GDPR you can ask to access, correct or delete your personal data, object to or restrict its use, and complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk). Because we don't store your answers, there is usually nothing for us to retrieve or delete. Email [email protected] with any request.
9. International transfers
Google and Cloudflare may process data outside the UK, under their standard data protection terms for international transfers.
10. Changes
If the app starts using new data (for example, saved outfits, purchases or an optional photo try-on), we will update this notice before that feature goes live and ask for consent where needed.
