Seasons: The Journey — Privacy

Seasons: The Journey is a free, ad-supported app for followers of the EFL Championship. This page explains what data the app collects, what it does not, and how to opt out.

Non-personalised ads only

Seasons: The Journey serves non-personalised advertisements only, delivered by Google AdMob. We do not use your identity, location, or browsing history to target ads. There is no App Tracking Transparency (ATT) prompt because the app does not access your device's advertising identifier (IDFA) for tracking.

What we collect

• Device identifier Used only to request non-personalised ads from Google. Never linked to your identity, never sold, never shared beyond Google's ad infrastructure.
• Crash data and diagnostics The AdMob and Expo SDKs send limited crash and performance data to help us keep the app stable. Aggregated, not linked to you.
• Push tokens If you opt in to notifications, a device token is stored so we can deliver goal, half-time, full-time, and kick-off alerts for your chosen club(s).
• Your club selection Stored so your news feed, alerts, and match centre focus on the club you follow.

What we do NOT collect

No name, email, address, or phone number. No location (approximate or precise). No photos, videos, audio, camera or microphone access. No contacts or calendar reads (calendar is write-only, for kickoff events you explicitly add). No health or fitness data. No financial info. No in-app purchases.

Third-party partners

• Google AdMob Non-personalised advertising. Google's partner policy.
• Supabase Backend storage for your follow list, notification preferences, and cached news / fixtures. Supabase privacy policy.
• Expo Over-the-air update delivery and push notification relay. Expo privacy policy.

Delete your data

To reset your advertising identifier, follow Google's instructions: Reset your advertising ID. To have your push token and stored preferences deleted from our backend, email [email protected] from the address associated with your enquiry or include the device identifier shown in the app's Settings → About screen. Deletion is completed within 30 days.

Changes to this policy

Material changes to what we collect will be reflected here and in the App Store / Play Store privacy declarations at the same time. Last updated: 2 August 2026.
